To combat the perpetuation of dangerous myths and stereotypes surrounding sexual and domestic violence in the media, we established a campaign inspired by journalist and feminist Jane Gilmore. This campaign, active on Twitter and Instagram, focuses on re-writing misleading or victim-blaming headlines to promote accurate and respectful reporting. By taking inappropriate and incorrect headlines, we 'fix' them and tag the respective news source, ensuring they see and acknowledge the revised headline. Our goal is to challenge the media to adopt responsible reporting practices and to contribute to a more informed and compassionate public discourse on these critical issues.
